YouTube Channels That Have Influenced My Fishing

I want to recommend a few YouTube channels that I either follow or have followed myself and that have influenced me as an angler. Unfortunately, they are mostly in German, but YouTube has a translation function.

AngelnMaximal

A Berlin-based angler and a really nice guy. He also used to fish quite often in the area where I lived when I was last in Berlin. He had a big influence on me when I started fishing and is actually the reason why I got into baitcasting. He also makes some very good videos explaining baitcaster techniques. These days, I don't follow him as much as I used to.

FirstCast TV

Probably the biggest fishing channel in Germany in terms of reach. Very good videos, mostly entertaining episodes that have little to do with old-fashioned fishing. Their "Up North" episodes, filmed in Norway and Sweden, are legendary. The main characters are Dustin Schöne and Felix Weckesser. Dustin is the owner of Nays Baits and Wecki runs Tacklepeak. Dustin is also the partner of German model Lena Gercke and a supporter of BFC Dynamo, just like me.

Ina Roams

Very well-made outdoor videos, not just about fishing. Ina also fly fishes and visits Norway quite often. Lots of nature and great cinematography.

Flover in the Wild

Florian is an outdoor guy and extreme sports enthusiast who has also worked as a cameraman for FirstCast TV. He currently lives in Norway and makes great videos and catches some really nice fish.
